Tool Tips

Right-click the canvas for a quick settings popup for the active tool.
Brush / Bucket: Alt-click to sample a color (eyedropper).
Brush: Shift-click to draw a straight line from the last point.
Eyedropper: drag to sample live. Alt or right-click samples the background color.
Clone Stamp: Alt-click to set the source point.
Magic Wand: set Tolerance and Contiguous; holes are excluded automatically.
Pen: use the options bar to turn a path into a selection, fill, or stroke.

Move & Transform

Auto-Select picks the layer under the cursor; Controls shows transform handles.
Drag a corner handle to scale. Shift / Lock Ratio keeps proportions.
Alt-drag a handle to scale from the center (Alt+Shift = proportional from center).
Shift-drag the body constrains movement to one axis.
Arrow keys nudge by 1px, Shift+Arrow by 10px.
Double-click a text layer to edit it.

Layers & Selections

Right-click a layer for blending options, duplicate, delete, group, mask, and more.
Layers support masks, clipping masks, blend modes, opacity, and layer styles (fx).
Selections clip painting, fills, filters, and cut / copy / delete.
Imported images stay full-resolution until rasterized.

Adjust, Filter & AI

Image › Adjustments: Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation, Grayscale, Invert, Threshold.
Filter: Gaussian Blur, Sharpen, Add Noise, Pixelate, Vignette.
Image › Transform: rotate, flip, image size, canvas size, crop document.
AI: Remove Background and 4× Upscale run on-device. Connect Claude / Gemini via AI › MCP.
