LuluSplat for Windows and Linux - third-party notices
====================================================

LuluSplat is built from, and ships beside, the open-source components
below. Each is distributed under its own licence, named here with
where its full text and source can be found.

The COLMAP release carries its own dependencies as separate DLLs, each under
its own terms (see the projects for full texts and sources):

Ceres Solver, glog, gflags - BSD 3-Clause
Boost - Boost Software License 1.0
    OpenImageIO, OpenColorIO - Apache 2.0 / BSD 3-Clause
OpenEXR, Imath, Iex, IlmThread - BSD 3-Clause
    ONNX Runtime - MIT
    OpenBLAS, LAPACK - BSD 3-Clause
SuiteSparse (CHOLMOD, AMD, CAMD, CCOLAMD, COLAMD, SPQR) - LGPL 2.1+ / BSD
    Qt 6 - LGPL 3
    GMP, MPFR - LGPL 3
    ICU - Unicode licence
libgfortran, libquadmath, libgcc - GPL 3 with the GCC Runtime Library Exception
    OpenSSL 3 - Apache 2.0 · libcurl - curl licence · PostgreSQL client - PostgreSQL licence
libjpeg-turbo, libpng, libtiff, zlib, zstd, lz4, bzip2, xz, brotli, deflate,
freetype, harfbuzz, fmt, yaml-cpp, sqlite, expat, pcre2, md4c,
double-conversion, jasper, OpenJPH - permissive (BSD/MIT/zlib-style or public domain)

The LGPL components are separate, dynamically loaded DLLs and may be
replaced with compatible builds of your own.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bundled in tools/colmap (Linux)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

COLMAP 4.2.1 - BSD 3-Clause, as above. COLMAP publishes no Linux binaries,
so this is conda-forge's CPU build (https://anaconda.org/conda-forge/colmap),
redistributed unmodified with the shared libraries it loads, copied from the
conda-forge packages listed in cmake/colmap-linux-64.lock. Each package's own
licence files are in tools/colmap/licenses/<package>/; sources are linked
from each package's page on anaconda.org/conda-forge (feedstock recipes at
https://github.com/conda-forge).

Permissive (BSD, MIT, Apache 2.0, zlib-style, Boost, ICU and similar):
COLMAP, Ceres Solver, glog, gflags, PoseLib, faiss, ONNX Runtime,
OpenImageIO, OpenColorIO, OpenEXR, Imath, OpenBLAS, TBB, METIS,
SuiteSparse (AMD, CAMD, CCOLAMD, COLAMD, config), Boost, ICU,
libjpeg-turbo, libpng, libtiff, libwebp, libjxl, OpenJPEG, OpenJPH,
dav1d, aom, SVT-AV1, libvpx, OpenH264, Opus, Vorbis, Ogg, zlib, zstd,
xz, bzip2, brotli, libdeflate, sqlite, expat, libxml2, fontconfig,
        harfbuzz, pixman, OpenSSL 3, libcurl, krb5, libssh2, nghttp2, libxcb,
libX11 and the GLVND/OpenGL dispatch libraries
LGPL (2.0, 2.1 or 3): Qt 5, GMP, MPFR, glib, cairo, pango, fribidi,
        gdk-pixbuf, librsvg, graphite2, libheif, libde265, LibRaw, libiconv,
        LAME, mpg123, keyutils
GPL 2.0 or later: FFmpeg (a GPL build, with x264 and x265, loaded by
OpenImageIO), SuiteSparse SPQR and parts of CHOLMOD
GPL 3 with the GCC Runtime Library Exception: libstdc++, libgcc,
        libgomp, libgfortran
FreeType - FreeType licence (FTL) or GPL 2

COLMAP runs as a separate program; none of these libraries is linked
into LuluSplat. The libraries are separate shared objects and may be
replaced with compatible builds of your own. Redistributing tools/colmap
carries the GPL's and LGPL's terms for the components above, including
making their corresponding source available (conda-forge publishes it).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beside the executables (Windows)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

FFmpeg (libavformat, libavcodec, libavfilter, libavutil, libswscale,
libswresample) - LGPL 2.1 or later
Built from source as shared DLLs without --enable-gpl or --enable-nonfree,
so no GPL or non-free code is included. The DLLs may be replaced with a
    compatible FFmpeg build.
    https://ffmpeg.org - source: https://git.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg.git

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
In lib/ beside the executables (RHEL package)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

FFmpeg 6.1.6 (libavformat, libavcodec, libavfilter, libavutil, libswscale,
libswresample) - LGPL 2.1 or later
RHEL ships no FFmpeg, so the RHEL package carries its own: built from the
unmodified release tarball as shared libraries, without --enable-gpl or
--enable-nonfree and with no external codec libraries, so no GPL or
non-free code is included (the configure line is in
installer/linux/rhel/build-el9.sh). The libraries may be replaced with a
    compatible FFmpeg 6.1 build.
    Source: https://ffmpeg.org/releases/ffmpeg-6.1.6.tar.xz

The Ubuntu packages use the system's FFmpeg libraries instead.
